My perfect day: Be the first one up and enjoy the morning paper and a cup of coffee. Go shopping at the farmers market. Hang out in a cool, not a chain bookstore-like The Tattered Cover in Denver. Have friends over for an early dinner, drinks, conversation, and some spanking.

Still Raining
Still raining. We have been in the house for two days with no respite. Joey missed school friday due to the storm. Lucky kid he only started monday and already gets a rain day. So far we only lost power once and it was last night at 1am, so I sleep through it and looking on the positive side my bill will be lower scence we had no power. Oh yeah, and I dont need to water my lawn or garden.

I feel caged and I want to cook. I made a mad dash to Winn-Dixie earlier that was an adventure. The drive was from hell with all of the shit on the road, and I had pine needles under my wipers so everything was streaked and blurry. I did get a huge chance to practice my captian hydroplane skills . The things I will do for eggplant. The nice thing about going to the store during a tropical storm is that nobody is at the grocery store. I kinda felt like a pirate

This being Florida there were still people out jogging! Hello it raining sideways and trees look like they are doing the wave at a Mother Nature and the Blowhards concert. But alas this is Gods waiting room.
