i may alienate myself further by saying it, but one of my biggest and long standing fantasys is about having a sibling and being romantically involved, but im an only child, had i grown up with siblings..i probably wouldn't feel taht way...this is sad. how frustrating for them. makes me think about how they must have met, maybe taht twin thing really played into it, a pychic connection bringing them to each other. i dunno..if this happened to me, i'd probably stay with them, and just make absolutely certain that we didn't conceive. cuz as stated the social constructs, arn't really there since you didn't grow up as a family. but damn that's gotta suck...i believe adopted kids should be able to find thier parents actually, i think it's a basic human right myself. i really DO technically have a brother and 2 sisters but teh youngest of them is 37 yr's older than me, and i dunno if they know im related at all..joys of being a bastard..i guess conceivably..who knows maybe the father man..spread us out a little more..might well have more siblings::shrugs::

But anyway, nobody mentioned the elephant in the room--the one sitting next to Naomi Watts. Obviously, the only way the couple discovered their mutual heritage was by the wife getting pregnant and the newborn has severe medical complications, which prompted doctors to run genetic tests. Obviously? I don't think so. Perhaps one of them was ill and needed an organ donor, or perhaps they were having trouble conceiving and needed the tests run. There are so many other options out there, it's not obvious that they had a child with "severe medical complications" Plus, I learned in college that inbreeding isn't really as dangerous as people believe. Actually, you are correct. The whole inbreeding thing is easily rectified with some simple tests. It is more likely that a woman over 35 having a child will face some type of genetic malfunction than siblings will.

For some reason all I can think about is the fact that they had sex.

But I get all those feelings anyway. Now I know I'm adpoted and my biological father was a musician but...........................oh man. If my dad is Mick Jagger........ EVERYONE IS MY SISTER!!!!!!! OH SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
