I'd like to see "most recent posts" for groups that are not private displayed somewhere prominently. I check the recent posts for the forums a lot but the forums seem to be a bit slower now there are groups. I think people would be more inclined to participate more often in various groups if they saw a topic that they wanted to respond to.

I know that the groups one is a member of show up on the update list, but why I normally wouldn't think to join a community called "Livestock Fuckers", if I saw a post in the Livestock Fuckers community about a video of Goldberg blowing a donkey, I'd have to stop by.

I think it might increase traffic among the community.
