Why do we have the reoccuring thing when ppl sign up? A friend of mine was giong to sign up till he realized that. He pointed it out to me. I just think its strange.

The only thing that I know of that is strange and recurring is the rash on my nuts. I'm not sure what you're talking about.

I was talking about how they bill you after 3 months. They keep billing you. And thank you for the in depth random thought. Dont care though. lol.

I don't know of another site of this type that doesn't do it that way.

It might jsut be because ive never been anywhere else but the pink side. But i dont think they do it that way. I think your membership gets cancelled unless you renew it. Or is that how it works here and i was missing something? lol. i tend to do that.

Most of anything that you pay for on the net does that, even my WoW account is reaccuring.

I have mine set up to be reaccuring each month.

The pink site does it the same way I believe. You sign up and until you cancel, your subscription is renewed unless you cancel it.

The pink site definitely does it that way too. My account on there was recurring. It isn't that hard to cancel it on here though. I subscribe to four sites online and they all recur. I recently cancelled two. No biggie.

That's just him. He is that way. And yes, recurring is a common practice.

I guess I don't mind the reoccuring thing, but I REALLY wish our billing info was available on this site instead of going through CC Bill.

And also, I guess my intro rate for signing up for a whole year (which ended up being $5 a month) has expired and now I am paying $10 a month. Sorry to say, that is too much for me. That's double. I would be willing to commit to another year at a lower per month rate, but there is no option on DN to do that. Or on CC Bill, for that matter.

So, now if I cancel my acct, do I lose my user ID and journal entries, etc.? How can I renew for another year at a lower rate and keep my current info?

Very frustrating.

everything stays, nothing is deleted.

I understand your frustrations, but the yearly subscriptions cannot be renewed on a yealy basis. CCBill doesnt support it for some reason

so cancel / re-signup is the same thing

Yeah when I was a member the only time my account didnt rebill automatically was when I was skint and there was no money to come out of the account!
