I think if you done it once you should be okay, did you ever hear back from DN about it? Things are a bit heactic at HQ at the moment because of the big event they are hosting in SF (tomorrow) so if you haven't heard anything I would wait for things to calm down next week haha.
In the meantime get shooting for practice and fun! If you have an idea and a photographer wiling to shoot it for you, go for it... for a lot of people the idea is the hardest part, or get your props etc together.
You will need to clarify with Gwindylyn or the models on the site about the release information for yourself and the photographer, I am not currently upto speed with all that.
DN can turn you down for a number of reasons, some of them are easily fixed, if they relate to the set or the quality fo photographers or the content, ie the amount of nudity and number of ass/pink/boobie shots and Gwindylyn should be able to help you if you have any questions regarding this. Other rejection reasons might be more personal, such as you do not have the look or level of modifications they are looking for at this time.
