The random fears of fucking up someone else's toilet, putting my hand in ketchup, and dying in a plane-related incident are things I must deal with daily. Anyone else have quirky, somewhat paranoid fears?

HAhaha YES!
I deal with these on a regular basis. .

My refrigerator whistles at me, I have audio and visual hallucinations so I hear and see shit all the time.. especially my peripherals..
When I drive I fantasize about crashing my car.. I think of different interesting ways I can total it..
I feel uncomforable in my own skin sometimes and my feet feel like my skin is shrinking, so I stretch my toes out really far and then am afraid my skin will split.. I know weird right?

Fuck I've got a lot of these .. Maybe I should take notes on these and post them all someday.

Slugs.
They freak me out so bad. I go anywhere near a slug and I'm a blubbering mess.

The shower. I can't stand a shower curtain that is not clear. I fear someone coming and scaring me.
I have a issue driving past a tractor trailer or getting near the guard rail I fear being smashed

I have an irrational fear of windows without curtains at night. I'm always afraid someone is looking in at me, even if it's on the second floor, I have to run past them.

Going to the bathroom at other people's houses or in a public restroom (before I got pregnant with my first, I actually used to send anyone who was in the house outside until I was done using the bathroom).

Being in a car with someone else driving makes me incredibly anxious because I'm not in control of the vehicle (also a reason I have issues with flying).

Tractor trailers, seen too much of the damage they can cause and having quite a few "incidents", especially in the winter when I was young and would go to my dad's for visitations.

And to make me sound even more like an incredibly paranoid nutcase, I am scared to death of phones. I screen phone calls, I get antsy when the phone rings, and if I have to make phone calls, it takes me forever to get the nerve to do it and it usually results in panic attacks or me being close to tears. Phones frighten me.

I have various, sometimes severe OCD issues. The one that puzzles people the most is my complete inability to eat something cooked by someone whose kitchen I have not been into. I quite literally would gag if some hot naked girl tried to get me to eat the nice cookies she baked for me.

I fear losing everything I own or having it taken away from me. I fear people who are very nice and caring.

I have a lot, but the fear of messing up someone else's potty has ALWAYS been near the top of that list hahaha. Oh man, especially if they don't have a plunger in the bathroom

I'm almost convinced that every vague negative thing posted in friends' blogs or the unsaid thread are about me.
If I'm out and a group of people are laughing, I immediately think they are laughing at me.

It takes me at least three tries to call anyone other than my mother, father or husband.
I try to call my brother and hang up three times and then have to come up with some lame excuse like my battery died, or lost signal or something since he of course has caller ID
I never call my friends, ever. If they can't get text messages or email, they don't hear from me.
Every time the phone rings I panic.
If it's after 8 pm or before 10 am i'm convinced someone died.

I think there are spiders EVERYWHERE. I make hubby walk in front of me everywhere we go incase there are spiderwebs.

All windows MUST have curtains or blinds. I'm always convinced there will be a face staring at me when I pass them at night. I literally have to run past windows blinds or not once it's dark out.

I have a lot of OCD things as well, quite a few that I worked on in therapy and are defintely better than they were... but I don't really think those count.

Oh, I also have trouble using the bathroom if anyone other than myself or the hubby is around. I have IBS and get easily embarassed by it.

Eyeball stuff

eyes just freak me out. Bloodshot eyes or eye doctors are gonna cause me serious issues, don't want to contemplate operations or anything like hat.

and just for shits and giggles my 7 year old has an unnatural fear of E.T. for some reason.
