So in case you didn't hear ... Radiohead offered up it's latest album on their website and you could pay whatever you felt was fair for the album.

Today I hear on the radio that they claim to have made more money from this new album than all their previous albums combined!

That's pretty insane if you think about it.

With the RIAA still at full steam suing everyone ... why can't they see the writing on the wall?

Innovate or Die .... I believe that 2008 will be the death of RIAA and music labels.

It was brilliant of the band to pull this stunt. They stuck it to the record companies and raked in all profits. Fucking smart.

I am wondering which band will follow their lead now? Bands don't need music labels any more.

The problem is that it's really not their best album. It sounds like demo versions. Good ideas, sometimes used already before...but cheap sound, really. All in all, it's not a good deal.
