I had quite the crush on Tairrie B for I don't know how long. L7 on the other hand, was my first girlie-crush band, back when I was in elementary school. lol (I had recorded the video for "pretend we're dead", which I ended up using the first time I ever really masturbated.good times, good times.). |

I really dig Concrete Blonde (especially a disc called "still in hollywood" which was full of alternate and live versions of their songs. Her version of Tomorrow Wendy on that sends shivers down my spine to this day)
Most of the female singers i like though are more pop than metal or rock, such as
Aimee mann (voices carry is a great song)
Cindi Lauper (Time after time is one of my all time favorite songs)
The Go-Go's (Jane actually hit on me a few years ago during mardi gras when i was a door man at hustler club and invited me for a drink, but when I got off my shift an hour later, the damn club was so packed, I couldn't find her. I was wicked sad for days, since i had a HUGE crush on her when i was younger)
My favorite of all time though was a local singer named Toni Troy who I used to see all the time years ago when I lived in NH. She was an acoustic cover singer, but still added her own songs as well. I'd play a few songs a night with her when I was feeling up to it, and we exchanged music and lyrics back and forth. She self published 2 discs that were way beyond awesome, and I really wish she got a shot since she was so talented and a super woman. |

Let me see. My boyfriend listens to a lot of music with female members. Some have been named here....Leaves Eyes, Nightwish, Within Temptation, Tristania.
Visions Of Atlantis, Elis, Theater Of Tragedy (Liv Kristine of Leaves Eyes did vocals for years), After Forever, Epica, The Sins Of Thy Beloved, Midnattsol (Liv Kristines sister's band), The Gathering, Sinergy, Battlelore, Doro (Warlock too), the original White Zombie, Phantom Blue (also tours as the Iron Maidens an all female tribute band), Seraphim, Lullacry, Vixen, The Bangels, Lita Ford, Scrotum Grinder (I just had to throw that in)
There are many from all over the world and he finds them. He has a fondness for saprano vocals and respects any woman with balls enough to pick up a six-stringed demon and wring it fuckin' neck.
