I have this funny feeling that there's a few Patton fans on this site. If you're a fan, I pose a few questions: Favorite album/project? Least favorite? Who do you want to see him collaborate with? Got a great story about meeting him? Or anything else you'd like to add to the discussion.
To start this off, my favorite Patton album is FNM, "King For A Day...", though his best projects, in my opinion, were Mr Bungle and Lovage. Least favorite was Maldador, but it was still great. I want to see him collaborate with Tom Waits.

I just reread this and I sound like a sixth grader. Oh, well, I'm comically tired. It has an effect on my communication skills.

Fantomas, easily. Suspended Animation was one of last yrs. best albums. (Refer to my rant in my Blender Top Albums of 2005 thread)

I hear a new Tomahawk album may be coming out this year, BTW.

Also, I've heard that Peeping Tom is FINALLY going to release an album, which maked me warm and funny in the way that a new Patton album can.

(Peeing Tom was funnier, though)

i go through my phases, where i'm into one project more than the other, but i think fnm, bungle and fantomas will always have a 3-way tie in my heart. i just can't choose.
i listen to maldador and his solo projects the least, but i still enjoy the hell out of them when i'm in the right mood.

i think a collaboration with massive attack would be really interesting.

and i also really can't wait to see the movie firecracker. mike patton playing duel roles? i'm so there.

Squeeze Me Macaroni is easily one of my favourite songs of all time, not just from Bungle.

I saw Tomahawk open for Tool once and Fantomas another time. Highly.Impressed.

i don't even think i could narrow it down to what my favorite is. "the real thing", "king for a day", "directors cut", "lovage" are probably my most played. but i love mr. bungle and tomahawk too. damnit.

and i can't wait for freakin' Firecracker.

I think FNM had one of the all time most overlooked albums, "Album Of The Year". Which, IMO, should have won best rock album of the year. A lot of people I know think it was too different or mainstream for FNM but therein, it was very opposite of what one expected from them. The same year Marilyn Manson released "Mechanical Animals" and it too was very good but largely ignored.
