luckily i like football and hockey.

the new rules suck. it's shitty watching the nhl die. the last bruins game i went to last season was sad. we lost to the panthers and the place was 2/3 empty. everyone is losing money, so enjoy the hockey while it is still around.

nice pic of pj getting taken down.

I think a big issue is the new rules after the strike..and how they shoved a lot of the old "goons" out of the game..and brought in a new crew..which is why..the flyers pretty much fail now..because their team was mostly..old school players..

i love how when they did the ducks/kings game over in london, the time people really started cheering was when the game got rough. it's a big part of hockey and why people enjoy watching it. removing that aspect is just plain stupid.

I know its like asking a pro snowboarder to snowboard on dirt...it the whole show ends up all kinds of fucked up..

wait..that may be a bad example..because..now that I think about it..that could be slightly amusing

hockey isn't supposed to be nice and friendly. it's supposed to be fast, chaotic, and violent.

snowboarding would be better if they had to deal with big defensemen that are too tough to wear helmets and have no teeth.

Hear, hear! I don't like football, either...but I'm not a hockey fan.

Used to keep up with boxing, but these days it's a caricature of itself: Boxers who self-promote more than they fight, not enough rounds in a bout, & way too much money involved. Mixed martial arts kicks ass (literally!). Sooner or later MMA will have the same probs that boxing has, but until then it will be a great sport. Kudos to Rampage Jackson!!

I like football but the other kind of football, the football known to the rest of the world, and that's soccer.
