Last movie I saw was 'The Matador' in the theaters. I just got my box set of 'Battle Royale' and 'Battle Royale II' a couple of weeks ago and have been trying to find time to watch them. Work, school, wife and documentary are taking way too much of my time at them moment.

I've heard a lot about Battle Royale, I can't wait to get my hands on a copy. My friend Jason is trying to find 2 copies so he can send one to e.

I watched DOOM last night with Duane "The Rock" Johnson. It was okay. The one really cool part is they did a five minute long first person view so it was just like the game, all blowing the heads off of nasty creatures and shit as the guy made his way across the building. For that short 5 mins, the movie is worth a look.

Saw "Kinky Boots" last night. Completly kicks ass.
It's about a man trying to save a tradtional english shoe company by turning it into a shoe companythat designs shoes for drag queens with a little help from a guy/girl named Lola. Lola is played by the guy who played the assassin in Serenity and he does a really good job.
It is straight forward and predictable but it really good fun and a great way to kill some time if you are not in the mood for something serious.

Nobody Knows.

A japanese movie I rented from the video store. It was on IFC too apparently. It is about a family of four children and their mother who move into an apartment and the mother treats it like it is a game. Only the oldest son is allowed outside with her and he is in charge of watching them. The mother goes away to work for awhile and doesn't come back for a month, and then leaves again. The children start running low on yen.. This was an actual true story that shocked Japan when it happened. The true story was actually a lot worse than what the movie portrayed. It's gut wrenching how much child neglect truly goes on in the world.
If you're someone who doesn't mind reading subtitles, check out this movie. It's heartbreaking.

Watched She Creature (sic!) tonight on tv. It was an entertaining B-movie about some carnival folks trying to smuggle a captured mermaid to America in 1906. Of course, stuff starts happening and people end up dead.

It was ok to watch once but I wouldn´t buy it on DVD. The mermaid was pretty hot though...

Added the IMDB link. The mermaid was topless, btw. Made the movie much nicer to watch than expected.

This(<-- clickable word) is the version I bought (actually mine has different box art), but the person I bought it from goes by 'drunkenmasterus'. If your friend is unsuccessful in finding on his own, you may want to point him in this direction. If you have any questions about the box set, let me know and I'll tell you what I can.

BTW, this post is in response to LeShan's response to my post. Thought I hit quote when I actually hit reply.

Kung Pao - everyone told me this movie was hilarious. Stupidly hilarious. Well, they had the stupid right. There were a few funny parts, but for the most part I was bored by this elementary-level humor. The best parts were when they had the female character making that WEEEEOOOO noise. That made me laugh every time. That's about it. I won't be buying this.

just finished Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter

I think this is what happens when good people with good intentions have access to, too much camera and editing equipment.

It was laugh out loud funny in moments and just plain strange in others. And it is a musical with dance numbers and all. It is wacky, I loved the theme song.

I just watched "Dirty Love" with Jenny McCarthy last night.

I suck at reviews. But I thought it was hilarious. I just love her because she doesnt seem to care what she looks like or who thinks what of her, if its funny and she thinks of it, she does it. Granted, she was whiny when she was crying and saying "Oh my God" all those times, but... that was the whole point in my eyes.
And my boyfriend thinks she has a hott back. Hahaha.

TOUCH MY BAAASSSSSSSS!!!!!!

Overall, um, yeah, I loved it.
