HeadlessBill said:Last movie I saw was 'The Matador' in the theaters. I just got my box set of 'Battle Royale' and 'Battle Royale II' a couple of weeks ago and have been trying to find time to watch them. Work, school, wife and documentary are taking way too much of my time at them moment.
I've heard a lot about Battle Royale, I can't wait to get my hands on a copy. My friend Jason is trying to find 2 copies so he can send one to e. |

Watched She Creature (sic!) tonight on tv. It was an entertaining B-movie about some carnival folks trying to smuggle a captured mermaid to America in 1906. Of course, stuff starts happening and people end up dead.
It was ok to watch once but I wouldn´t buy it on DVD. The mermaid was pretty hot though...

This(<-- clickable word) is the version I bought (actually mine has different box art), but the person I bought it from goes by 'drunkenmasterus'. If your friend is unsuccessful in finding on his own, you may want to point him in this direction. If you have any questions about the box set, let me know and I'll tell you what I can.
BTW, this post is in response to LeShan's response to my post. Thought I hit quote when I actually hit reply.

Kung Pao - everyone told me this movie was hilarious. Stupidly hilarious. Well, they had the stupid right. There were a few funny parts, but for the most part I was bored by this elementary-level humor. The best parts were when they had the female character making that WEEEEOOOO noise. That made me laugh every time. That's about it. I won't be buying this.

just finished Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter
I think this is what happens when good people with good intentions have access to, too much camera and editing equipment.
It was laugh out loud funny in moments and just plain strange in others. And it is a musical with dance numbers and all. It is wacky, I loved the theme song. |
